Just 8 days overdue...I am pleased to introduce my newest nephew, Nick. We joked that being so late, we were afraid Nikki would give birth to the Thanksgiving turkey, but he weighed in at a whole 7 pounds 2 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long on Wednesday September 12, 2007, at 5:40am. Though the ordeal that Nikki had to undergo to bring him here is the kind of story that is whispered among gossiping circles of women, it was more than worth all the effort. I am guessing my heroic sister would want to blog the story herself, so I will let her do so when she is up to it. The good news is that our sites are linked so you can read it for yourself, when she is good and ready to write about it.
The great news is that mom and son are doing well...
...and I couldn't have been more honored to be a part of such an amazing experience.
So...WAY TO GO NIKKI AND JEFF!! And welcome little one, we are glad you are a part of our family.

Please tell Nikki and Jeff congratulations! Thanks for posting the good news... I've been thinking about Nikki and wondering if that particular day would be the day. :) How wonderfully exciting! He's absolutely beautiful. We wish them all the best as they get adjusted and hopefully we'll get to meet Enoch (is he going by Nick?... so cute!) soon.
