When ever Sadie is quiet, I figure there is something somewhere in my house going down. I have two ways of figuring out what:
A). Frantically looking around until I find said mischief
B). Calling out to Sadie and asking her to say something like, "Can you say Mama?" And, given the trajectory and enthusiasm of her voice, I have been able to assess situations from a far.
In this case, she was quiet because she was putting the dog to sleep with every freshly washed blanket I had neatly folded and put away in the closet waiting for use with the new baby.
Sadie turned to me and said, "SHHHHH," with her little finger awkwardly on her teeth. Muloki also turned and looked at me, as if to say something. No words necessary. Good girl Muloki--good patient girl.

So cute! I know, you would think the quiet would be nice, but it makes me panic when I don't hear the noise of my girls! :)
