I know it was long over due. His hair a was a bit of a throwback to the 70's.
Then there was the permanent knot in the back. It was all just so fine, that it ratted up so easy, an no combination of hair product could tame it.
My dad had his own hair issues (note the wad of hair Joe is holding. I wonder if it was long enough to donate to Locks of Love...)
I thought it would be so cute to cut it together. Grandpa was first.
Joe Joe the moving target proved to be a bit more of a challenge. Then, for reasons I am still unclear, Joe decided to try and use the one guard to trim the bottom of my baby's head. I have no real good picture, because I refused to take any of the "bowl-cut." It was not awesome. In 24 hours my 14 month old had lived through 2 decades of bad hair style choices with his mop then the bowl.
