Happy Anniversary Erin

As many of you know, we lost our brother Ammon last week. It was an extremely trying week, but we made it through thanks to the many prayers that sustained us. While I may write more about my Brother Ammon in the coming weeks, the purpose of this blog is to let my wife know how very much I appreciate her and love her.

Thinking back on 6 years of marriage I can say without any doubt that I made the best decision of my life when I asked for her hand in Marriage. We were sealed in the Denver Temple on August 8, 2003 on a beautiful day. Erin was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. She wore her stunning white dress and she looked simply radiant in every way. Today, that radiance has only increased. As a mother to our 2 children (soon to be three) she is often worn down and tired at the end of the day, but everytime my daughter spins or my little boy jumps my wife's face lights up with a radiance that only a mother knows. I love her for making our marriage and our family work.

Erin, throughout this last week and a half you have been my rock. You have supported me every moment of every day. My shoulder to cry on...my counselor when I was looking for how to put together Ammon's eulogy at 2 in the morning. Sharing our anniversary with Ammon was difficult and yet we turned it into a positive moment. Thinking of you and our family on such a sad day helped me so very much. I am so grateful for a wonderful 6 years and I can't wait to share many many more days with you both here on earth and for eternity.
