Yesterday, I had enrichment, and due to a scheduling kink, the whole family had to tag along. The air was so cold walking to and from the car, that we threw a blanket over little Joe (and the handle of his car seat so the blanket was not on his face), to help protect him from the cutting bitterness.
Once in the car we headed home. A rather hungry little boy began to cry. I was talking to Joe in the front seat ignoring him because there was not much I could do while we were in the car to help the poor little guy. "Mama! Mama!" I hear from the back. I turned to see why her tender little voice was calling out to me. Then she made the sign for, "Help" and pointed her brother crying in his seat still covered.
"You want me to uncover him?" I deducted, and she nodded. Clearly she had tried, and couldn't reach him. I removed the blanket, and Little Joe stopped crying.

Wow Erin - that makes me want to cry too! What a sweet big sister, and a lucky little brother. Nothing makes parents happier than knowing their kids love each other. The pictures are beautiful.
That is so sweet!!! that is what big sisters are for!!! Wau to go Sadie!
SO SWEET!!!
Oh, I love stories like that. Thank goodness for children!
That story makes me excited to have another one. Not too soon though:)
So stinking sweet! She's such a good big sister. Preston isn't quite there yet. He tries to help by shoving the passy in the mouth...but Lincoln really doesn't seem to enjoy his man handling. So guess what?!?! I have a blog now. It's farmerfamilyfour.blogspot.com
That is so cute how sadies is gentle and loving to little joe. You have to remember this so when they get to the annoying fighting about everything stage you can remember that they do love eachother, they are just showing it in a different way. Jk, I doubt they will get to that stage. These times make all of the work worth it.
I put you guys on our blog yesterday but I guess I forgot to push save. So now you are officially on the list. I'm still working on my blog etiquette.
