Meet Dora. She was my nurse during most of my stay at Potomac Hospital. She was nice, and she was very quiet. She would come in my room, get to work and leave. She did impart a little advice: don't hold the baby too much, it will spoil her. I held her all the time. And I still do.
She also told us that kids think it is funny her name is Dora. Sadie did. I told her Dora took care of me in the hospital, and her face got all twisted as I am sure she was imagining Dora, "You did it! You did it! Hooray!!"
They have the same hair-do.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh!!! I knew it would be no sweat for ya if they would just give it a go. I'm so thrilled that you got the vbac you wanted. Way to stick to your guns. Love your guts lady that never cusses.
I loved reading this post. There is nothing more magical or special about bringing a baby into the world. I love thinking about my deliveries....even with their frustrations, worries and pain. I'm so glad everything went so well with yours :)
Oh I'm so glad you posted the story. I've been wanting to hear it. Sounds a bit eventful, but I guess they always are. I'm glad you were able to do it VBAC. And beautiful prize indeed!
I do love a good birth story and I am grateful for your stubbornness and toughness. You are one good, hard core mommy! Hold her ALL THE TIME!! Love you!
