Here are some more, thanks to my good friend Stephanie for lending us her talents and taking some pictures of my yummy family. Yes, I call them "yummy."

Me and my boy. Joe Joe is pure joy.

Sis and her "brudder"

My first born, she is such a doll who is so tender and tries so hard to do the right thing. I love how she will ask me out of the blue for no reason, "you okay mom? How are you?" Yesterday, I had a hard parenting moment. My eyes teared up watching the news hearing that we had accidentally bombed a wedding party in Iraq. My heart sunk thinking of all the families, on both sides of the war. Sadie cocked her head and with furrowed brow asked me, "what happened momma? You sad?" I drew a breath and thought of what to say, and nothing came out. I just hugged her and told her I love her. This picture, to me, captures the simplicity of her two-and-a-half year life. Tickles and giggles, and I am safe with my momma. I want her to live in that place as long as she can.

We did family pictures very last, hence the squirming and crying kids.
