We had a fun evening celebrating all our friends who are graduating this year (99% from Law School--I think Joe was the 1%, or as I like to call his Master's degree: The Un-Law Degree). This was Joe Joe's first real opportunity to eat a good slice of summer watermelon all by himself.
And BOY did he. He actually sat himself down right next to the plate of cut watermelon, and just helped himself.
It was pretty much adorable.
I looked across the playground to see daddy and son on the see-saw. They are so cute with their little hats on backwards. In case you wondered, Joe Joe did fall off and eat a good mouth full of dirt. He also climbed right back up.

Of course he climbed up, fell off (had a dirt snack), and then climbed back up! That's little Joe Joe! grin... I'm so glad that it's watermelon season again! Joe Joe has the right idea!
