My Pumpkins

Fall in Virginia, one of my favorite times of the year here. The humidity has all but gone, there is still some moisture in the air to be had, but it doesn't stick to your skin thanks to the cool breeze. It has been raining a lot, which brings out what is left of the greens, only contrasted by the oranges, yellows and reds beginning to creep up the branches of the trees. I love fall in Virginia, because we get to have one. I walk out of my door to feel the wishy-washy weather: to cool for my t-shirt, but I get too hot too quick with a sweater.
Saturday was one of those days. We donned our sweat shirts and long pants, and headed to a local nursery.

They had some moon jumpers and slides, it looked like a lot of fun. Fun that apparently would have cost us 12 dollars a ticket for every one over one-years-old. 48 bucks just for admittance? Pass. Sorry kids. Instead, we wondered the isles of pumpkins and mums admiring natures ability to match color combinations perfectly. The kids took it well, walking out with a pumpkin, a balloon, and a smile.

They are the cutest of pumpkins!

I can't even imagine being in a sweatshirt right now! It is still 104 here and it just doesn't seem like relief will come soon enough! VERY jealous!
