We only have one rather small tree in our yard. It's leaves turned the most brilliant crimson color. It must be some sort of Oak. I will have to look it up...
Anyway, on a beautiful day before Thanks giving, I asked the kids (and Muloki) to come and help me rake.
They were so sweet and happy to help. Any jump in the piles and spread them all over our yard. I didn't mind. Our yard is TINY and it takes all of 2 minutes for me to rake it back into a pile for them to destroy again
Sadie was the only one who tried to rake. Joe Joe was more interested in sticks. But, he did help put it into the trash bag when it came time.
I am so glad they are close. They just play all day.
(As I type this, they are running around yelling, "HELP MONSTER!! RUN HIDE!" playing downstairs).
