Lucky

Sometimes I think Sadie got jipped being the first born. She will have no one to tell her the ins and outs of Junior High, who the best fifth grade teacher is, and why you shouldn't lick a 9 volt battery. She has to be the guinea pig child on which we test all of our unreasonable rules and apply sky high expectations of which will have dissipated due to parental exhaustion by the time our last baby comes to age. She will be the one we will turn to "do this" and "that" while the other youngsters run rampant. Yes, things are different when you are the eldest.

Then again, being the oldest also comes with some perks.

Oh my! Looks like she was having some fun with little brother - and the good natured little guy doesn't seem to mind at all!

He looks more and more like her to me - just a boyish version.

Haha, what a cute picture! He looks so happy and not bothered at all by what big sister did to him. :) As the oldest myself, I agree...there are pros and cons to it. Way to go, Sadie, for taking advantage of the pros! :) Hope you guys are doing well!

Ha, Ha, Ha! I'm the youngest and I think the oldest and the youngest each have different perks. The middle children get the brunt :) He looks totally happy to have been experimented on. Too cute!!
