Then panning out a little, you can see our "Gigantor." Of the 6 sunflowers we planted, the only one that took was the mutant seed.
He seems to cause a bit of asymmetrical look to our house. I am guessing the HOA is not a fan.
Gigantor just about reaches all the way up to Sadie's second floor window.
Joe thinks we should take it down, I don't. I worked pretty hard on that garden, and my freakish sunflower deserves to live. After all, it was the only one to come up.

COOL! I love it! It is like Jack and the Beanstalk - maybe it will keep growing.
I had some sunflowers that I planted but Chaco trampled the seedlings. So much for my green thumb - my dog has the gift of destruction that cancels it out pretty well.

when you work so hard for a garden it is SO hard to destroy what comes up... my vote ads to those before, let it grow!
