Go ahead, roll your eyes--but I only buy whole wheat products, and bread is expensive. I have decided to make all of our bread by hand to save a little money, and to learn something new. So far I have made 4 loaves, am going to make some more today, and I love it.
Sadie loves it too. I came down stairs after changing the baby's diaper, and found the corners of my loaf missing. I grinned. It feels great to make good things, and know your family is appreciative and have full warm bellies.
