We went to church in Harlem. I thought is was so interesting walking through Harlem. There were equal parts churches and liquor stores and hair salons.
My favorite was a salon named, "Sho-nuff." Awesome.
It was so humid, Sadie's curls were going crazy.
I don't know if I ever posted a picture of my hair, but following my surgery, in a moment of desperation mixed with exhaustion, I chopped it off. It has grown quite a bit since, I currently want for my lengthy tresses. I am sure when it is long again, I will cut it. And the cycle continues.
