Sunday was a great day. Dad Witters was in town staying at our house, the Chapmans traveled from Maryland, the Giles, the Bradleys, the Parkes, the Bishops, Bishop Stewart, and the Hamiltons, were all able to be here to support us in such a beautiful ordinance.
Wearing his daddy's same outfit (though it was a bit small around the neck) we blessed baby Joseph Ray.
One beautiful excerpt of what Joe said was, "Joseph, we welcome you into our family, and as your parents, we promise to do our part to teach you the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and pray that you will be sensitive to those teachings and the examples of your Mother and Father...We bless you that you will receive a sound understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We bless you that you will be able to discern and have a clear understanding of right and wrong, that you will make right decisions...We bless you with love, life, happiness, joy, and laughter..."
