Egg Hunt

I am working on my mommy skills.
There are a few key things I need to improve before my daughter is old enough to realize what is going on:
1. When you are invied to an egg hunt, don't bring real eggs. Bring fake ones filled with candy for the kids to find. We went home with WAY better eggs than the ones we brought.
2. Be on time to kid's activites. We were late to the egg hunt, so most of the "big kids" had already swooped in and gotten all the eggs, leaving little for my Sadie to find. She didn't care--mom did. Hence the "before she is old enough to realize" part.

Charish was in charge of the activity and brought extra eggs (THANK YOU). She filled one at a time, and just kind of tossed it out infront of Sadie to "find." She picked up on this game quickly, and happily followed Charish around.

3. Prepare for the weather. I thought she (and I) would be warm enough and didn't bother to bring coats. We were the last to show up, and the first to go home. A few kinks, lessons learned, and a great time!

She looks happy! Good thing she is figuring out how the egg hunt works so when easter comes she will already be a pro at it.
