Favorite Sadie-isms right now:
"I got my princess!"
Translation: I am wearing a dress.
"You DID!"
Translation: I know you really have what I want, don't tell me you don't (Even if I don't. The other day she wanted more milk--we were in the car).
"I want to do my punkins"
Translation: I want to do my helping hands jobs (they are written on pumpkins).
"We has to hurry! Friends come ober!"
Translation: We have to hurry and clean up, mom this house is a mess and I can't have my friends see it in this condition.
"TOO LUCKY"
Translation: I feel special
"Oh my gooness"
Translation:
Filler. When I don't know exactly what to say.
"You are not OBEIENT!"
Translation: I want to do it my way, not yours.
"Be nice a Sadie, mama"
Translation: I don't want to hear "no."
"I do it MY SELLLLLFFF!!"
Translation: Mom, I would really appreciate the opportunity to try and do this alone. I am almost grown after all, when will I learn if you do everything for me?
"I freezering!"
Translation: It is a bit chilly.
"I heavy!" or "heavy bit"
Translation: I am a big girl or a lot. Not to be confused with "baby bit" which is a lesser amount than "heavy."
"I lobe you too much!"
Translation: I love you more than my limited vocabulary can say.
Wearing her sunglasses is the latest fad. The other day I took the kids to the post office with me. I was carrying on a rather one-sided conversation (on the part of my side) with Sadie. Looking in my rear view mirror I said, "Sadie? Saaaaadie? What do you think?" No response.

...there is something unnatural about the direction of her feet and the way her face is directed. Any one else see that??
I love it Erin! Nick keeps looking at the screen and saying "say-ee, say-ee" (Translation: Sadie).
I didn't even notice with the cuteness of the rest of the attire.
